Sundown Canvas – A Quick Poem

Because the solar bids adieu

Splashing some colors for a view

The pinks, reds, oranges, and goldens

Alluring and mesmerizing, it has our consideration.

Every tint an ode to the elapsed hours

Every shade to mark the heat that hovers

Every hue, a celebration

Every tone, an evocation.

And now, entrusted with the canvas

Relishing nature’s heavenly tinges

The day’s moments are due an examine

some to replicate and a few to deflect.
